autonomic nervous system and the activity of the pituitary). The new chemical message is then carried out by the blood out of the brain the produce the hormones. The hormones finally bind with receptors so the body can know it is under stress. Stress is very common throughout the world. There are even some people who get stressed out every day, sadly. What could possibly stress out a person almost every day of their life? The causes of stress are more common than what some people would deem to believe. The top causes of stress in the United States are job pressure, money, health, relationships, poor nutrition, media overload, and sleep deprivation. Another list of the top stress factors in the United States comes the American Psychological Association. “Since 2007, the survey has found that money and work are the top two sources of very or somewhat significant stress (67 percent

and 65 percent in 2015, respectively). This year, for the first time, the survey reveals that family responsibilities are the third most common stressor (54 percent), followed by personal health concerns (51 percent), health problems affecting the family (50 percent) and the economy (50 percent)” (American Psychological Association). Out of all of these stress factors, money plays a role in most of them. Money can play role for job pressure, health, relationships, nutrition, and media overload. A lack of money can affect all these stress factors into play, however, a fair amount of money will most of the time help dodge these stress factors. How can you tell if someone is stressed out? There are numerous physical and psychological symptoms people experience when they are stressed out. I myself do many things when I get stressed such as eye twitching, headaches, and other various symptoms. Statistic Brain released a list of the most common physical symptoms experienced through stress. “People who cited physical symptoms experienced the following: fatigue- 51%, headache- 44%, upset stomach- 34%, muscle tension- 30%, change in appetite- 23%, teeth grinding- 17%, change in sex drive- 15%, feeling dizzy- 13%” (Statistic Brain). Psychological symptoms of stress can be just as bad too. A psychological symptom that I usually experience when I get stressed is a tendency to not do anything besides lay in bed. Statistic Brain released a list of these symptoms as well. “People who cited psychological symptoms experienced the following: irritability of anger- 50%, feeling nervous- 45%, lack of energy- 45%, feeling as though you could cry- 35%” (Statistic Brain). It is nearly impossible to avoid any of these symptoms, both physically and psychologically, when you are under stress. However, there are ways that can help you overcome these symptoms. A solution that is both beneficial to relieving stress and your physical health is to walk it off. Going out for a walk can be very relaxing. It gets your blood pumping, body moving, and the
