The organization should have a committed police leadership that is willing to push this notion of diversity to success to achieve diversity. A dedicated leadership that has the vision to diversify their agency is essential to diversification. Additionally, conducting nationwide recruitment could work towards achieving diversity (Hickman & Reaves, 2012). This is because, there could be a possibility that the recruiting agency does not have qualified individuals within the local area, but when they move out there and go nationwide, they could find more qualified and diversified candidates. Furthermore, it is crucial that the recruiting agency partners with the minority police officers associations such as National Black Officers Association, to aid in establishing relationships which may help during the recruitment process Significance of Stress in Police Training As a law enforcement officer, one needs to understand that stress is always a part of their profession.
