The last skill is managers must have the ability to discuss the pay for performance linkage with subordinates. Due to this reason compensation are linked to measurable performance on employees to perform the objectives of the organization. So compensation and performance have directly related. CHAPTER THREE METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY 3.1. Research design The study was focused on assessment of compensation on employee‟s job performance in case of Dashen bank in Woldia branch. This study used a descriptive type of research design, because this type of reseach design has many function. The first one is it gives adetail information about the assessment of compensation on employee job performance. It is afact finding study with aduqate and aqurate interpretation of the finding.(Harper W, 2005). Typically, descriptive research design concern with determining the relationship between compensation and employees job performance. Descriptive research design basically describes “what is ” . Descriptive research is one which describes, records, analyses and interprets the condition that exist, so the study involves both qualitative and quantitative approach.(Donard,2010). 3.2. Population and sampling technique Target populations of the study are employees of Dashen Bank Woldia branch. The total number population in the bank was 28 so; most appropriate technique that used in this was census method. Because of the numbers of the population for this study was small. so, the researchers were taken the whole population as sample. 3.3. Source of data In order to became successful and achieve its objective the researchers used both primary and secondary source of data which has collected from responses of employees of Dashen Bank Woldia town branches and written document of the company respectively. Primary source of data was contained questionaries’ interview observation. Secondary source was collected secondary source of data through books journal technical report and different documents. 3.4. Methods of data collection The researchers have collected all the necessary information through questionnaires and interview to gather primary data. This questionnaire and interview destribute to the employees and managers the work in dashen bank woldia branch. The secondary data were collected from books, journals, magazines and newspapers of the company.
3.5. Data analysis methods and interpretation After collecting the data through censes method the analysis of data requires number of closely related operation such as establishment of category row data through coding,editing and tabulation.the data is grouped based on similar or on the bases of common characterstics.todo so
