So college has begun to help me and connect me with the right people so that I can do what I want and make it just like it helped the young lady in Rabideau’s story. There is a major need to undo the damage that has been done so that all people of any race and gender can strive and live successful lives and have the same opportunities. Some people may say that there isn’t a change but they are the ones at the top who don’t want to share what they have with the rest of the world because of greed. They are stuck in olden times of patriarchy where men ran the home and worked and where women stayed at home and cooked, cleaned, and took care of the children. This is 2010 a different time where women are more independent and the head of their households. And when they want to fight for justice or fair advantage they are perceived as “man-haters (Hooks 2000).” But they aren’t they just want the same fair chance as everyone else. References Cole, J.B. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
