Presenting team’s follow-up 2 (3 minutes) Presenting team emphasizes that we are considered commodities in our society because of the aforementioned societal shift. Entreployees are forced to act upon the market and thus lose their identity. However, self- quantification can result in self-improvement and the power of choice is very rewarding. They ended their follow up saying that entreployism requires more research in the future regarding the ethics matter. General discussion (10 minutes) During the general discussion, the chairing team suggested discussing if entreployee movement brings more advantages than disadvantages, how politician’s role might be important for everyone to benefit from entreploying and how employability will shape our career paths in the future. Generally, everyone agrees that despite great benefits, entreployee as a new labor force faces a lot of challenges. We came to a conclusion that politicians’ role is very important by protecting entreployees’ by the implementation of basic income. We also listened to critical respondent team 2 to add their last reply to presenting team regarding the advantages of enterprising self. The seminar teacher ended the discussion by clarifying the confusion of the entreployee’s concept made by critical respondent team 2.
