Delivery decisions in future communications will change slightly now that I am knowledgable on the steps of DECIDE, however, I think some of the steps are second nature. We do them automatically with out realizing it, for exampe Step 3 is to create the message, it is like the old saying "think beffore you speak" it is the same thing. What we want to say is ran through our brain befiore we actually say our thought. This then leads to step 5, the delivery. Once we have decided on what we want to convey it is ran from the brains out our mouths making it verbal communication. As himans we are prewired to do those with out

realizing the process it takes to get there.The step I would take in DECIDE and focus more on would be Identifying the communication strategy . This step will help figure out the exact strategy that you will use to deliver the message. You have to figure out if you will speak or deliver your message in person, maybe via email, on the telephone, or through visual aids? This is an important step for a persuasion speech because you need to find out exactly how the best way to go about getting your audience to do whatever it is you re trying to persuade them of.
