Critique State Bank’s policy of giving merit raises that range from 0 to 8 percent,
depending on job performance.
I think that merit raises are a great way to encourage high performance. I also think that
having a merit raise go from 0 to 8 percent really gives a good reason to work hard. My
only critique would be that the criteria needs to be very clear for the managers cause I
could see some managers being inconsistent with the merit raises.
4.Critique the bank’s policy of giving cost-of-living raises. Do you think that they should beeliminated?
