them respond by mimicking. From here, I critique their performance and fix anything they have done incorrectly. The goal is to help them improve their own personal performance. I plan to provide them with important feedback to help them be successful. I believe you must have values as coach which are goals, teamwork, learning each player, a positive attitude, and accountability to name a few. The list goes on for me personally. I refuse to compromise all these values because that puts a cripple in my team. It slows down the process I think is necessary to become successful. The most important thing to me is family and I believe a team should treat each other and view each other as family. I believe that is where everything starts and finishes. That is the foundation where everything started. Also, if a good coach, like any guardian or role model, pushes you to be your best you, will there be confrontation? Of course, but at the end of the day family always has your back. Coaching offers me to connect with students on a different level for me personally I know that I looked up to a lot of my coaches because they took me under their wing and taught me the ropes of the game whether it was about life, a game, or even success. Another thing about coaching is making sure the team works well together there is no I in team, it’s important for the team to get to know each other and bond this builds family. Through challenging moments teams come together as one and work they depend on each other to get the job done. I want my coaching to inspire others to do better than myself and exceed their personal goals, into becoming the best version of their selves. Coaching is something I love to do and requires a lot out of myself but I’m willing to put the players and the team before myself. “There is an old saying about the strength in the wolf is the pack, and I think there is a lot of true in that. On a football team, it’s not about the strength of the individual players, but it is the strength of the unit and how they all function together” ~Bill Belichick~
