have.
The concept of cultural competence can understand, communicate and
competently interact with a variety of people from all cultures. It involves being able
to be aware of your world view and to accept a variety of cultural differences and
practices from multicultural backgrounds.
It is essential that communication is clear, and people are sure that their
messages and information is received and interpreted as intended. If there are
misunderstandings in a workplace, it may require a supervisor to check that there
are no conflicts between cultures which may arise and to be able to take precautions
to prevent any communications misunderstandings It may be that assistance and
alternate communicative means and tools are required to assist with this.

Explain diversity and what respect for diversity means (100 words)
Diversity is the bringing together of all people regardless of age, religion, ethnic
background, education, physical abilities and socioeconomic status. To encourage all
ideas, values and experiences.
Respect for diversity and cultural diversity is the acceptance of other people
and that their own culture and beliefs are as important as our own even though they
may be different. There is no need for change by anyone, and nor should they.
Instead, we should grasp these opportunities and learn from each other and the
sharing of knowledge, experiences to broaden our views and perceptions, ultimately
making us better people in societies changing the world. It is here to stay.

Community attitudes and structures of culture, language and workplace
policies that influence people and groups and will all have an impact on
community services work. Briefly explain the impact of each of these things. If
necessary, conduct independent research. (200 300 words)
Community services work often involves helping clients in a variety of areas. As
to how effective a role can be in undertaking that role can be influenced by a variety
of things. These can include community attitudes, structures of culture language and
workplace policies. To identify ways to communicate effectively with aids,
interpreters, strategies, and the way in which people speak to each other can
influence groups and people in the community services work.
