disadvantaged students.¨Black law school graduates are four times as likely to fail bar exams as are whites;mismatch explains half of this gap¨. A lot of white graduates have an advantage because a lot of their parents have been exposed to those kind of criterias and can teach their kids more before going into schools. A lot of colored people end up going to a school harder than what they meet because they do not know what they are heading into and do not know what kind of schools are best for them because they are worried about being the best and fitting in. Minority communities start at a disadvantage on all these measures, and the reality is that means they'll probably end at a disadvantage too¨. Most people grow up to be like the people they surround themselves with and if you are always around people that do not know much education than you will end that way too. A lot of minorities grow up poor and uneducated and a lot of the families are not exposed to better so they do not know what better looks like or the hardships, responsibility and discipline that comes with it. ¨By the 2017-2018 school year, the board wants to have 88% of white students at or above the grade level benchmark for reading but only 81% of Latinos and 74% of blacks¨. colored people will not do as good overall. They have a high hope that affirmative action will help the inexperienced to meet the needs of a teenage student to be successful.
