Finally when looking into IBM’s employee benefit comparison, it also compares the satisfaction rate, pay scale, experience, and degree pay ranges for men and women. 4 out of 5 current employee’s are satisfied working at IBM. You can also see that the most experienced employees have either 1-4 or 10-19 years of experience in the industry. Employee culture, employer relations, and practices At present, the following elements are most notable in IBM’s corporate culture: 1 Radical thinking: IBM is famous for it’s promotion of THINK. 2 Dedication to every client’s success: IBM tries to keep organizational culture while focusing on it’s client’s needs. By maintaining a reputable quality customer service base, IBM can make sure it’s clients are happy across the globe. 3 Innovation that matters: IBM uses an intensive strategy for growth and competitive advantage by using this feature of corporate culture by addressing market demands through product development. 4 Trust and personal responsibility in all relationships: By IBM utilizing these factors, employees, business partners, suppliers, and others partners can make sure the relationships they hold stay in good standing. Having good relationships is something IBM expects will benefit their business overall. Exchange rates In 2014 IBM appeared to be losing out on a lot of money. Sources of funds Where can my business go to secure financing? IBM would seek out investors to secure financing for new projects or expansions. As they are a globally operated business they need the approval to further the investors and stockholders money. The charts below show the current growth of IBM and how they are doing financially. Stock performance As seen in the pictures below, IBM has had some major fluctuations in the past 5 years. In 2016, IBM hit it’s lowest market rate and has since been slowly climbing out of the hole. IBM’s current stock market price is $144.90, which is down 2 points from yesterday. PAGE 18

The past month shows a decline in their stock market price which suggests IBM’s losing profits. Accounting practices (GAAP and IFRS) What impact has the IASB had on my business? IBM created a program to help the transition of the new standards. Financial consolidations needed to be reviewed and evaluating the gaps in existing systems with an open mind to improvement offered a unique opportunity. This program delivered all documents to IFRS requirements, but it helps improve automation and control in existing systems. It helped with the IFRS and GAAP that existed in 2009 and helped organizations in three key areas.
