6. Explain static theory how natural resources affect economic growth. The theory is based on the assumption that scarcity of resources is a natural law and that there exists an absolute limit for the availabilty of resources. According to Malthus the growth of human population is a geometric progression and the human population doubles every 25 years while food production is represented as arithmetic progression. Consequently, human race face san absolute barrier to it’s growth in the form of food shortage due to limited area of arable land. 7. Define regional policy’s 2007-2013 first objective.
