I'm from Taiwan and my families are Buddhists, I'm not a devout Buddhist but I followed my families to do the Buddhist ceremony. I'm very close with my parents, maybe because of I'm their first child, I got the most of their attentions. They totally controlled my life before I was 18, so I travelled a lot after I reached my adulthood, I felt I'm finally free! My parents were strictly required my academic performance, it caused my standard of life was "to be a scholar is being the best of all". But I found that is wrong after I expanded knowledge by travelling, everyone has their own strengths except the proof of education. I'm not an easy going people, I do not talk to strangers unless necessary. Basically I show friendly to everyone but just surface, I would maintain respect and polite at least. 2. How can you learn about the cultural backgrounds of the families and children in the Early Childhood setting? 3. What are 5 approaches you should take into consideration when interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds? 4.Identify strategies you could use to help you provide an environment that is safe for all, Including people from Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islands. 5.
