Restoration
In the Christian religion it is simpler to redeem oneself than most other religions. In our
Lecture 5 Notes, it states that Other religions show you what they believe is a way to God by
living in a certain manner, praying certain prayers, and many other religious customs (“Lecture
5”, 2019), but in the Christian worldview all it takes is faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 says that, “For it is
by grace you have been saved, through faith” (NIV). This is implying that as long as you have
faith in the Lord and believe he is your savior that you will be saved by undeserving grace.
Humanity is restored by God’s graceful gift of his son Jesus who was crucified so we can be
forgiven, and we give nothing but faith in return.
Analysis
Having a faith so strong is one thing that I think makes me who I am. Without the
Christian worldview that I have held since I was young, I think I would be so lost and not have a
determined purpose. I may not know what the future holds for me, but I know one of my
purposes here on earth is to show everyone I cross paths with God’s great love through my
actions and words, even when it might be difficult. I believe all Christians believe this in some
form as well, whether it be volunteering their time, donating money or objects, devoting their
time to share his word, or many other ways. While all these things are not necessary because in

order to receive God’s grace, we as Christians just have to have faith that he is the one and only
God and that we will one day meet him in heaven because he sacrificed his son so everyone will
live forever after our time here on earth. I think Christianity is sometimes a hard concept to
grasp, because people who believe in God are putting so much faith into something that they
have never seen, which to some people is hard to understand. Most Christians have a testimony
or a background that have led them to have such a strong faith, so once you have dedicated your
life to God it is easy to understand and have a relationship with Him, even if you have never seen
a psychical person. Having these ideals and morals is beneficial because it gives you a backbone
