The healthcare industry is one of the United States, and the world’s largest and fastest-growing industries. For many years the healthcare industry had been under much scrutiny. Many American’s believed that the healthcare industry became less about the patients well-being and more about earning as much revenue as possible for each healthcare company. On September 12, 2010, President Barak Obama signed The Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act (PPACA). This act insured that many uninsured American’s would be insured, and mandated that many companies provide affordable healthcare for their employees. Among other provisions and stipulations, many tough regulations were handed down to Healthcare companies.
