Patients with Alzheimer’s also not understand why an activity should be done, like bathing or combing the hair, and they will not understand the effects of the activity not being done. Sometimes they find some necessary task or activity unpleasant and would resist. This also applies to simple tasks like taking her medication. He/she will have to be reminded time to time on where the medicine is kept and when to take them.
