4 INTRODUCING A COMPANY The values are able to educate the potential clients and customers on what the company is about and at the same time clarify the company’s identity. In this competitive world, with well- defined values speak well publicly are a competitive advantage (Grady, 2009). The values are also important for the managers since they are a recruiting and retention tools. To the ability to research companies, job seekers are doing their homework well on the company’s identities that they are applying for and weigh if the company has the values that are considered important by the job seeker (Sted, 2012). Organization structure of Apple Apple Inc. uses the collaborative structure in its management. This collaborative structure is designed in bringing parties together in a long term relationship in achieving a common goal. A work environment with a collaborative structure supports people in their cooperative and individual work. In addition, a collaborative work environment, the professionals are able to work together in achieving a certain goal that is independent to their location, and this practice enables an effective and efficient collaboration in different talents (Jones, 2010).
