Group B (1) When it comes to comparing the salons and the academy the thing that sticks out to me is how one side was empowered by women and the other side is empowered my men. The salons came to part after World War 2. Roger Picard stated that the salons will “help with the country’s reconstitution”. The Salons played a bigger role in the 17 th century. The salons helped women become more involved with the culture and change how the culture was.
