Lab 8 Page 2 Lab 8 Clean-Up Once again we’ve got a whole Bunch of Stuff that needs to be disposed of properly. You’ve probably been doing this as you work, but just in case, here’s the Deal: Biochemical Testing and Biochemical Practical • Test Tubes go into the Stainless Steel Bus Pan - Please remove all Tape - Caps go into the Wire Basket in the Stainless Steel Bus Pan • Plates go into Oscar - It’s OK to leave the Tape on your Stacks of Plates • Slides go into the Stainless Steel Pitcher • Used Toothpicks go into the Stainless Steel Pitcher • Unused Toothpicks (still in their Beaker) go back into the Aluminum Basket from which you took them. - We can autoclave these guys and re-use them. • Filter Paper goes to Oscar - It’s contaminated with Bacteria Artificial Epidemic • Please put all your Artificial Epidemic Plates in Oscar - Please tell us when Oscar is getting Full Gram Stains, Spore Stains, Negative Stains • Please put all of your Slides and Cover Slips in the Stainless Steel Pitcher Lab Benches and Drawers • Please check your Lab Drawer for any Plates, Tubes, Flasks (which shouldn’t have been in there in the First Place!) or Personal Articles • Please remove the Tape with your Name from your Lab Bench Edge 谢谢 !

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
