Additionally, Tim Elam’s preservation of our geology collection and curation files regarding our donations and loans is beyond a doubt awesome work and is a deeply appreciated task. My thanks go out to him and his family, long time supporters of BVMNH. Above all, I wish to thank Koral Hancharick, Executive Director, for supporting our efforts and helping to activate our Curation committee meetings that have been productive, and increased creativity and enhanced communication of our works in the Curation department. Her leadership and dedicated works to maintain our museum and its various functions is beyond what any of us can expect from one person. I want to say thank you Koral for giving of herself and her time to keep us operational all these years, especially since October 2014 will mark her 10 th year as our Executive Director. In 2014, I hope to continue updating our Curation system and building up our department as a center for research, conservation, and information for our local paleontology resource management commitments. Since our museum’s early days at CALM, we have strived to be a center for not just preserving the Ernst family collection (from the Sharktooth Hill bonebeds), but to be a resource for preserving our underappreciated fossil resources throughout Kern County which for many years have been in great need of attention. It is the Curation Departments goal to increase our museum’s commitment to protect and support collaborative efforts with other agencies who wish to preserve Kern County’s vast paleontological resources. BVM continues to work with BLM Bakersfield field office to preserve and monitor our local fossil sites. BVM since the late 1990s has had volunteer field crews to excavate at fossil sites in Kern County and serve as a needed fossil repository for BLM and other government agencies in our area. The museum’s goal is to provide a Paleo Resource Information Center and Research Library that would be available as a resource to individuals and agencies who are researching local paleontological sites. I encourage continued support to BVM in the coming year to enable us to make our future Curation plans a reality. Thank you for your support of BVM, have a great holiday season and have a great New Year 2014! Curation: Improvements and New Displays by John P. Stegall, Repository Curator

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
