these problems by providing a variety of question styles so that students are not easily distracted. The variety of question types will also help with score reliability as well, since students may be asked the same question different ways(Kubiszyn &Borich, 2016).The final factor is item difficulty. If a test has too simple questions or questions that are too difficult the test will not be reliable. If the questions are too easy and have obvious answers students will not need to work to get the correct answer, the assessment would be invalid. Alternatively, if a test is too difficult students would struggle too much and would likely have to guess for all of their answers and then their test score would be based on how lucky they got. Inorder for a teacher to alleviate this issue they should include a com bination of simple and difficult questions. As well as making sure the answers are not obvious, but if a student knows the material they will easily select the correct responses.
