My relatives those were the sister and brothers of my parents means my uncle and aunt used to compare me and my studies with their children. This thing gave me a thought that I don’t study well and I started to compare myself with them and gone in the states of depression. As a child depression is not good for one’s mind and body. Another concept of this chapter I can relate to is self-fulfilling prophecy. It happens when an individual unwittingly causes a forecast to come true, due to the modest fact that he or she supposes it to come true. Meaning it is an anticipation about a topic, such as an event or person can disturb our conduct towards that topic, which

causes the anticipation to be comprehended. This thing as a personal experience happened with me when I was giving my exams of 8 th grade. I was scoring well in my class tests and my parents, friends everyone was saying that I’m going to top the class for that time. This feeling of appreciation raised my self-fulfilling prophecy as I knew I’m going to study very hard and I has a great feeling that I will score the best. After giving my exams and asking to my friend whether their exams went good or not I had forecasted that I will come first in my class. This concept gave me confidence and controlled my over confidence. Another concept that I can relate to is changing yourself concept. I had a habit of not doing my homework at time. My 6
