An example of the use of authority in this scene

This preview shows page 1 out of 1 page.

An example of the use of authority in this scene could be seen in both Macklin and Bob’s lawyer. Macklin was the one who everyone was answering to and was the leader of the meeting. He knew exactly what had to be done and how he was going to go about it. Another person who had authority was Bob’s lawyer. When Macklin was talking to Bob and telling him what needed to be done, Bob would look to his lawyer for advice on the situation. 3.) Which interpersonal forms of power appear in this film scene? Draw examples of your choices from the scene. I feel that the interpersonal forms of power that were displayed in this scene were as follow: - Reward Power- this was displayed in the scene because Macklin holds the power to take Bob’s wipers to the next level and put them on the production line. - Legitimate Power- this was displayed when both sides of the party, Macklin and Bob, came to an agreement for Bob to send the wipers for approval. - Expert Power- this is evident in the video because Bob needs Macklin’s connections through Ford to take his product to the next level. Assessment of Peer Coach- Bill Hunter Referent Power- I feel that Bill is a very individualistic person. He has the ability to build relationships with people and can take control of a situation very well. Expert Power- Bill is very knowledgeable and can provide intelligent insight on a variety of things, this video in particular.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
