We are not looking for donations, or for sympathy but we are looking to teach people that may not know about it. We give them a glimpse of our daily life and the determination of our son. that platform to educate rather than entertain has been a way that we have found it useful. Don’t get me wrong we still love to post our son laughing at Elmo, but more importantly we use it to show the struggles he has been through. We use it to show people that disabilities are ok and it’s nothing to be afraid of. We have noticed that since we started to share our story, people have become more curious about our son and wanting to learn more. Curiosity is the need to discover or learn more about a something that was unknown before (Larson, 2013). This has provoked more people that we know to do research so when we do post stuff they know what we are talking about and then they are able to speak to us confidently. People are using social media right now for valuable and entertainment purposes (Gaitho, 2018). They do this to get the word out on things they support and feel strongly about (Gaitho, 2018). This has never been truer for us as people share our stories and look to impact others that we
