RFK really wants the US to learn and progress while avoiding civil strife. The speaker himself having have had to deal with the assassination of his very own brother as tool to keep the country together. Considering the time of this assassination, violent protests did not only happen but seemed regular. The fact RFK could contain that is a true work of craftsmen ship. The impact fullness of this speech on the fabric of America is profound. This speech helped one of Americas toughest decades end in crowning achievement. With JFKs assassination, the Vietnam war, MLKs assassination, and mass civil unrest the 1960s really tested the United States.
