Bamdad Falahati received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 1999 and 2008, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at Mississippi State University. Yong Fu received his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China, in 1997 and 2002, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in E.E. from the Illinois Institute of Technology, USA, in 2006. Presently, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University. Mohamadreza Baradar received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from The University of Isfahan and University of Tehran, Iran, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He is currently a member of the Electric Power System Department at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), where he is working towards a Ph.D. degree. His research interests include power system operation and controls, and multi-terminal VSC HVDC.
