This team works together with Supervisors to determine that Nursing protocols are up to date to most effectively provide telephone support to patients. She oversees the team that is responsible for ensuring that all Sutter Care at Home patients receive timely and effective telephone support and triage services.

In this role, she mentors and guides team members towards the improvement of their clinical auditing and quality assurance skills. The third essential is quality improvement and safety. This essential is a pinnacle in all of Brooke’s day to day operations. As a Manager, many facets of her duties lie in taking a plan formulated on a computer screen and effectively and dynamically turning it into everyday practice for the patients (American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2011).
