Determined Function: The function of behavior is attention seeking from both his peers, teachers and principal. Antecedent Interventions: Teacher will prompt Joseph to write down what he wants to stay whether is notes or questions. When timer goes off, then teacher will go up to Joseph. Have the nurse at school have a schedule for when Joseph should take his medication Follow up with the family of any changes in medication, or further concerns Replacement Behaviors: Joseph will raise his hand during instructional time. His comments will be appropriate and will be on topic. Learn appropriate ways to get attention from teacher and peers. What comments are acceptable to say in the classroom, waiting, and raising hand. The teacher will look over the notes from Joseph and see if they are appropriate to share with the class. Consequence Interventions: When Joseph raises his hand during instructional time he will get positive reinforcement from the teacher for doing so. Joseph will when comments are appropriate and remain on topic. Joseph will be able to share comments with class if they are deemed appropriate.
