This leads to the fact that community organizing is a dynamic process, one that requires constant attention and effort in order for the cause to be effective (pg 3) —it’s not a one and done type of deal, but a fight that may be defeated several times and requires the attentiveness and strength of the community to overcome their oppressive situation. Though it may seem tedious or a bit nerve wrecking, it is also exciting because it is empowering and really gives communities the opportunity to make change in their lives for the betterment of the future. Community Organizing seems to be a lot of work but worth it in the long haul. A few things that stick out to me that make me a little nervous or apprehensive to the organizing

process include reaching out to the community, and getting people involved who feel the same way about a certain topic and want to change it. Sometimes, I feel this struggle on a daily basis
