Leech Comments: The paper uses good details at several points, drawing from some good scholarly sources in doing so. These details paint a nice picture of the extent of Nazi theft of Jewish property as well as the use of slave labor. The paper also rightly notes that this exploitation was secondary to the Nazis’ racial mission, but was still an important part of the Holocaust. To improve, consider the following suggestions. As far as content, i t would have been interesting to hear more about the tension between the perceived need for slave labor, the profits earned by the SS, and Hitler’s ultimate goal of exterminating all of Europe’s Jews. Problematizing this dimension more would have made an even more nuanced main argument. Also, at some places the discussion should be expanded, such as discussing the expropriation of Jews between the outbreak of the war and the implementation of the Final Solution. The organization needs strengthening . First, at nine pages, the paper is just under the required ten-page minimum, though this is not a major issue. More importantly, some of the information presented later in the paper should come earlier in the paper . Some of the longer paragraphs should also be split up. In addition, t here are several small grammatical mistakes, so be careful when editing. Grade: 8 3 B 13

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
