Electronic Devices:All electronic devices will be placed in the power off position during lecture and placedout of sight. Electronic devices will not be allowed in the lab. If an emergency occurs and you must accept a call, please step outside the classroom to quickly take the call. Accessing or using a cell phone during a test or exam will result in a zero score for that test or exam.Make Up WorkIt is the student’s responsibility to make up any work that is missed, which includes reviewing material from lectures and or labs in order to complete assignments missed due to absence. All requests for a makeup test must be made prior to the test date and approval will be based on a valid documented excuse for the absence. Any pre-approved makeup test will be taken before the scheduled test date. Only 1 request to make up a missed exam will be considered during the semester. The instructor must be notified of unanticipated absences on the date of the test prior to the start time of the test. If the excuse is documented and considered valid by the instructor, a makeup test will be provided to be taken as soon as possible after the time of the original test at the Test Center. Tests missed without a valid documented excuse will result in zero score for that part of the course. There will be no opportunities to make up laboratories therefore, all absences from the laboratory will be considered unexcused and a zero will be earned for the missed lab.No work will be accepted late. Please do not ask permission to email your lab report tome as all requests will be denied. Consult your syllabus and Blackboard for all due dates of graded work and plan accordingly.Grade Determination Page 3
