Pampena 4 Also, various achievements that are linked to the spread of Islam are an important aspect in the film. This includes the fact that just one empire spread to three continents on the planet. In just two centuries, the empire spread to Morocco, Spain, and other areas in Africa, Europe, and Asia, which totaled an area larger than the size of the Roman Empire. (Grupper) Also, the theory that diseases are transmitted through microscopic organisms served as the fundamental component to the development of hospital systems. This was portrayed as a major accomplishment because this approach to medicine was used for six centuries. (Grupper) The similarities between the film and the real events regarding achievements include the sophisticated hospital system, the empire’s fast spread, and improved infrastructure. For hospitals, both the real-life events and the film address that the hospital was a major benefit to the health of all citizens, regardless of religion or social status. (National Institutes of Health) Another slice of the pie that cannot be forgotten in the film is the varying political views and structures. Muhammad always believed that there is, was, and will always be just one God. This not only meant that citizens should believe in one God; this also meant that citizens should control their actions based on this God’s word. (Grupper) At the time when the Ottomans invaded Bursa, a full ride to education was valued by Osman. This practice helped to strengthen the Ottoman empire so that Islam was forced out of the land. (Grupper) Varying economic conditions in the empires featured also played a role in the film. Those that resided in the city of Mecca wanted to abolish Muslims altogether. This means that armor and weapons had to be crafted by this empire so that their members could invade the Muslims. (Grupper) In the city of Jerusalem, a modern water filtration system and wheat were contributing factors to several cultures and religions that moved to Jerusalem.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
