This shows that the main character is a very composed person and that he doesn’t let his grief take his mind off the task at hand. One of my first experiences with death was when my grandad died. I was five years old, I loved my grandfather very deeply and when I learned of his death I was very saddened. I wondered why the world would take him away. The only thing that would put my mind to ease was when my parents told me to keep strong and that my grandad was at peace now. In conclusion, people react with different emotions when it comes to death, whether it is one of grief, or hatred, or acceptance. You can never truly tell what a person may feel when someone they know dies, only how it impacts their life and how they live on in that deceased person’s memory.
