The researches are attempting to draw a between the two variables in specific populations. The strengths of a correlation design is that it allows the researches to examine a large number of variables in a single study, it also provides an evaluation of the strength of the relationship between two variables and it provides the ground work for future studies. The limitations of a correlation design is that it may be affected by extraneous variables which may not allow the researches to draw a conclusion about causality. References Houser, J. (2018).
