As an intentional teacher I will use wheels to teach them cause and effect of slow-moving vehicle. Through this I am trying to teach them the concept of slow and fast movement. Also, while they are having a discussion with me in circle time and in activity area there, they are exploring their language development, critical thinking. In pretend play as intentional teacher I am trying to teach social skill and little math with slow and fast movement. While I am asking various questions, I am letting them to understand the concept of cause and effect relationship. As an intentional teacher when I am showing them a short clip of video on phone, I am exploring 7
Careers in Early Childhood Education the use of technology in their life. When I am giving them coloring sheet of vehicle, I am teaching them art work. Lesson plan on ramp: This lesson will take one week to finish. Activity 3: Building blocks Objective: By the end of the lesson children will develop science and math skills, as they use the variety of material to build ramps and learn how angles affect the speed of different object. Materials: Variety of solid wood and hollow wood blocks including triangular wedge and ramp, blocks of different sizes, two board of equal length, pan scale, item that role down on ramp including plastic cars, large and small wooden cylinders, markers, pencils, and small balls. Item that not rolls down on ramp including small squares and rectangular blocks, paper, shells, paperclips and small dolls. Day 1, in circle time I will have discussion with children about ramp. I will ask to children what they know about ramp or ever they see the ramp (they may have answer or may not, they may say yes, I saw or I build the ramp). I will explain to children about the ramp by saying ramp is the way from where any object will slide down. Also, I will ask question to them, if ever they made a ramp with the use of blocks and if day made what they did with it. Then I will ask question by saying if they know any object that can slide down on ramp or that cannot slide down on ramp (children may have answer or may not). Once I will get the answer, I will give them the example of object that can slide on ramp or that cannot slide on ramp. Then I will take kids to activity area where, I will encourage them to draw a picture of the object that can slide on ramp or that cannot slide. Also, I will encourage them to color the picture. Day 2, in circle time I will explain them, that we are going to make a selection of object that can slide on ramp and the substance that cannot slide on ramp. I will encourage them to come over 8
Careers in Early Childhood Education and make the selection. Once they will make their selection, I will ask to them why they do make that selection or why they are thinking that those items can slide and others are not (they may give answer or may not). After that, I will take them to the activity area where I will encourage them to make the ramp by use of blocks. Once they will be done with making ramps, I will encourage them to do the experiment by sliding the object on ramp. I will let them explore the
