2) Explore the intertextual connections with the topic and your audience members: What are the historical and contemporary interconnections between the topic and your audience’s frame of reference? How might your audience connect with the topic? What current social concerns resonate with the topic? I think my audience will be able to connect with this topic pretty well each and every person goes through birthdays. We celebrate them in anyway we want to also, with friends, alone, drinking, eating cake opening gifts. It doesn’t matter we all have birthdays. So I know that my audience will be able to connect with what I want to say because everyone has them, however I need to decide about what age
