Towards immunotherapy for pediatric brain tumors. Trends in immunology . The journal reviews the use of immunotherapy for pediatric brain tumors, which is a common brain tumor in childhood. The study provides advanced understanding of cancer immunotherapy and how it can produce dramatic response in patients. From the findings, the immune system can be used to recognize and destroy tumor cells through T cells. The therapy employs various techniques for stimulating present immune response against cancer. I believe that there is need for better therapeutic intervention for brain cancer, which contributes to high mortality rate around the world. The organization’s conclusion are supported by other scientific studies, thus it is viable to manipulate the Immune System to Destroy Brain Tumors instead of using other interventions such as surgery.
