From the political cartoon the “Mother Country” would benefit the most. This country would be Europe and it is represented by a high-class person, obviously representing their royalty and wealth when all the colonies give her gold, silver, raw material, and food. 11. English settlers had a monarchy, they demonstrated basic rights to citizens. And believed their freedom was a type to hold pride in. And civil liberties, did not really exist. Even in religion, it was supported by the government. Religious freedom was not really present in the Americas. But most was not reflected in the law.
