Quick Access Toolbar : A small toolbar located on top of the screen which contains shortcuts for some of the most common commands such as Save, Undo, and Redo buttons. Title bar : is located at the top of the window that displays the name of the document and software program being used. Ruler : is located at the top and to the left of your document and can be used to align text, graphics, tables, and other elements in your document. Scroll bar : found at the bottom and right side of the document that control what part of the document you are viewing at any given time. View buttons : lets you change how the presentation or document appears. Status bar : is available at the bottom of the document window and displays information about your document, such as what page you are currently viewing, how many words are in your document, and whether any proofing errors were found. Document Area : is the blank section of a word processor that allows the user to create content . Document Header : is a section of the document that appears in the top margin , while the footer is a section of the document that appears in the bottom margin . Headers and footers generally contain additional information such as page numbers , dates , an author's name , and footnotes . Text entered in the header or footer will appear on each page of the document.
