Do you know anyone who really loves his or her job? If so, what do they love? Is the work fulfilling or does it have meaning? Do they have flexible hours? Is their commute short or can they work from home? Do they have excellent benefits? If you were an employer and had the power to decide how to make your workplace a great one, what would you offer employees? Can you think of ways your company could improve their benefits and the morale without greatly increasing costs? And do you think that having great benefits, even if they cost a bit more, might have a positive effect on the bottom line? They say happy and fulfilled employees are more productive and more loyal; so you'd think it would be common sense to do everything within reason to keep your employees happy and fulfilled, wouldn't you? Unfortunately, not all companies make the effort to be a top employer. On the other hand, there are some that do. Kudos to them! Every year, Fortune Magazine puts out a list of the top 100 companies to work for. There are different reasons that companies make the list, but many of them are related to the benefits they offer. Click on the link to go to CNN.com for the list of the best companies for 2007 . When you go to the site, you'll notice that Google is the top company to work for. The site offers a wealth of information about Google and why it's the best company. Take a few minutes to read about Google, and think about how you would fit in there and why.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
