decisions related to family, a patient, a community, or any other health care specialists. The journal also explains the need for nurses to develop leadership skills to assist them in advocating for socially active policies ( Douglas, et.al., 2015). Nurses should also gain a comprehension of perspectives, practices, and values for people they care for. They should also seek to understand the complexities of variables that may impact the success of a person's health care and wellbeing. The journal also advocates that nurses should employ culturally sensitive skills as well as cross- cultural knowledge to assist in the implementation of the culturally congruent nursing health care. The journal also emphasizes the need for nurses to use both verbal and nonverbal cues to assist in identifying the patient culture and unique health care requirements ( Douglas, et.al., 2015). Lastly, evidence-based interventions should be used by nurses to test the effectiveness of the culturally diverse communities that they serve.
