Texting, checking e-mails, listening to music or any other activity on your mobile devices is not allowed in class. If you are seen or caught using any electronic devices for texting, Facebook, or any non-class related activity, you will be docked without warning. You might be considered absent for that day as well. In the case of illness, typically some documentation is necessary.Rules for Students taking Arabic Tests or Assessments1) Students are responsible for finding where the test is. If, for instance, the place for a final is not clear, please notify your instructor ahead of time. 2) For the whole duration of the assessment students are not to have any books, notes, or phones in front of them. Your phone cannot be your watch/clock during a test. And you may not speak on the phone, take pictures, or send or receive text messages while testing. Doing so will render your test invalid.3) No listening devices are to be on students’ ears. No headphones, ear buds, ear pieces, blue tooth, whether it be a telephone, an i-pod, or anything that may give students access to something that they can hear, EVEN IF IT IS OFF.
