lifted in 1974 and also Arab nations learnt that restricting oil raises the oil prices to their advantage.

Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries is an international cartel that inflates price of oil by limiting supply.
Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and UAE are prominent members. It was formed in 1960 by Persian Gulf states and other
