It’s always good to receive dojo points, right?Client: And my mom is happy about that because there’s dojo on her phone.Counselor: Good. So, what are the qualifications, how do you get dojo points, by what?Client: Being good Counselor: Being good, okay, that’s good. Did you do something especially well that day? Client: HmmCounselor: Like what?Client: Some stuff no; I was like playing around in class, but I learned my lesson today? Counselor: Okay, good, good. Hum, what are somethings you struggle with in class, that you can do better in besides like socializing with other?Client: There just only one thing thoughCounselor: Humm.Client: ReadingCounselor: Huh? Client: Reading Counselor: Reading, so sometimes you have a hard time with Reading? Client: It just sometimes I don’t want to read, but then I’m done with the book and I do not read.I start to struggle with the words if it’s a hard book. Counselor: Okay, so how can you do better with that? Client: Like seeing if the book is hard.Counselor: Or?Client: Hmm, that’s all I know Counselor: Huh?
Client:That’s all I know Counselor: How about reading more outside of class, like during your personal time? How about reading more out loud when you are at home? Can that help you sometimes?
