Some women get more credit than the others, and they still support them, because they are women just like them. This why intelligence, shouldn’t cause any race to be treated unfairly.

Being attractive, shouldn’t lead to discrimination. A Rose For Emily short story showcases the huge issue, women, thinking that they are more attractive, than other women. For example women portrayed themselves, to be stunning, sophisticated and superior, by the way they act around people. The author demonstrates this with two quotes from the book. The first quote represents how women were criticizing other women for “It’s simple enough,”he said. “Send her word to have her place cleaned up.Give her a certain time to do it in, and if she don’t…. “Dammit, sir” Judge Stevens said, “will you accuse a lady to her face of smelling bad?” For instance this quotation representing how women were discriminating other women for being different. Being attractive, shouldn’t determined unfair treatment towards other racial groups. Whether or not someone is attractive, also shouldn’t determine your success in life. These are all the reasons why attractiveness should not result to an equality issue. The author’s background and cultural perspective deals with the explanation on why William wrote this particular story. William Faulkner grew up in the south.William Faulkner born in 1897, who came from an old southern family, grew up in Oxford, Mississippi. He studied for a while at the University of Mississippi, and temporarily worked for a New York bookstore and a New Orleans newspaper.
