Tell the students that they have 15 to 20 minutes for their rough drafts of their family timelines and that they may work in groups of two to three to help get ideas on their timelines 18. When students are working on their rough drafts walk around the room helping them, ask questions about their timelines and answer questions about their timelines 19. After 20 minutes tell the students that it is time to start their final draft of the family timelines, that this will be done on their own and that they have 20 to 30 minutes to finish and that it is okay if they did not finish their rough draft 20.
