Sharp edge steel knife with plastic handle light in weight or steel knife [1/2” blade] with metal handle for heavier use , mainly for paper cutting 4. Steel or fiberglass transparent ruler preferable with inch and centimeter print on it. Its mainly used to draw lines and to cut straight edges of paper 5. Non-stretchable self-adhesive tape for direct designing. This paper is sticked on the paper while designing 6. Set square for drawing angle 7. Diagonal scale for drawing angle 8. A pair of divider with lock screw device to transfer measurement and trace parallel line 9. For making point on paper pointing Awal is used. Some knife pointing awal at other end 10. Non-expandable measuring tape for measuring various part of the last 11. To trace curve on desired place on the models like French curve 12. Triangular file is used as sharpening device 12

The main thing is the skill and accuracy of the concerned designers which make the ultimate design a success A) Designing with the help of mean form: This system is first to make the inside and outside forme of the concerned last consecutively the mean of these forms. With help of mean forme standard is being developed where specific angles and lines drawn related to the concerned last. This method is simple and based on geometric ones, its easy to learn and easy to teach Forme cutting (copying method): To develop shoe on three dimensional last it is required to make on flat shape on paper, it is possible through transfer of three dimensional shaped surface of last to two dimensional flat papers.
