Non-maleficience -no harm should encounter a patient in course of treatment. Patients trust physicians and have faith that no harmful practice will be done to them (Hoadley et al, 2015). Consider a poor family that has used almost all of their finances in funding their mother in breast cancer treatment. The family first son and father suggest and convinces the physician to carry out the Physician assisted Suicide (PaS).the physician is left in an ethical dilemma. Is it right to end a life? Is one responsible for injecting the euthanasia? Is this the only option left?

Running Head: ETHICAL DILEMMAS 3 Autonomy -any adult who can make sound decisions has the capacity to accept or refuse health services. The physician has a role to respect patient’s decisions (Hoadley et al, 2015). A 58 year old man is suffering from metastatic cancer and pneumonia. The patient refuses to be intubated affirming that he has fought cancer long enough. His blood pressure is low and he seems to be confused. Should he be treated against his consent since he is confused and cannot account for his action? Should he be just watched to perish? What should be done? . Justice -physicians should be fair and neutral in relation to age, culture, gender and socioeconomic status (Geiderman and Venkat, 2014) . A female 21 years old has an arm laceration. She explains that she lost balance in the kitchen while preparing food for her younger sister who is 3 years old. She smells alcohol and seems like she picked up a fight since her face is bruised too. She claims she does not have funds for pharmaceuticals. The physician is left in dilemma. Does she deserve treatment? What will the physician do? Is the physician being too
