Astronauts and Space Pilots - With recent aviation and aerospace technological breakthroughs, there will be a growing need for space trained pilots in the next several years that are qualified to take commercialized commuter flights into outer space with civilian and non-civilian passengers on board. Getting an associate degree along with the aviation certificates will increase my chances of getting hired by a major airline significantly. I decided a year ago to take the plunge and start my own aviation career. I know it will take a lot of effort and dedication, and I will have to make sure I take advantage of the help that will be available to me to keep my stress levels as low as possible. Pilots struggle with fatigue and other physical struggles because of the constantly changing altitude, and this forces everyone in aviation to stay healthy and prioritize sleep and time management. I will keep a level head and focus on the end result. I have my family’s and partner’s support through it, and I am very confident in my own ability to succeed in the career I have chosen for myself. 4 | P a g e
