What role does rehabilitation play for those in need of long term care?At times rehabilitation is needed. Rehabilitation can be mental and or physical. It depends on the level ofcare that is needed by the individual. This is also determined by their primary healthcare practitioner at times of evaluation. Sometimes it is not determined by your primary doctor, it can be determine in collaboration with your specialist. It is a collaborative effort as it pertains to the needs and welfare of theindividual who is requiring the assistance.Discuss ethical considerations for residents of long term care facilities and discuss all ethical considerations for those considering or living in long term care facilities.Placing a loved one in an assisted living facility or in a facility with 24 hours level of care is not an easy decision. This is a topic close to my family. My father in law is legally blind. He requires 24 hour assistance. My mother in law is physically disabled but does not require physical assistance. She cares formy father in law. My wife and I have discussed options for my in laws. We have decided to move in to a
one story home in order to be able to take care of my in laws. We also have room for a home bound nurse to be able to live on the property at some point to care for them.
